4 minutes walk to Nishitetsu Yakuin Station and within walking distance to Tenjin.
This shrine enshrines Sugawara no Michizane and is the head shrine of all Tenmangu shrines across the country.
From Nishitetsu Yakuin Station, head towards Omuta. Approximately 30 minutes from the hotel.
Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine
Approximately 8 million people visit the shrine every year to worship the god of learning.

Kyushu National Museum
Kyushu National Museum is a history museum located in Ishizaka, Dazaifu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. It is one of the museums operated by the National Institutes for Cultural Heritage, an independent administrative institution, and opened on October 16, 2005. It was built behind Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine on a hill owned by the shrine. It is commonly known as "Kyuhaku" or "Kyukoku."
